Spring Break Program: Reading Pays Registration and Volunteer

Mar 11 @ 11:00 am - Mar 15 @ 2:00 pm

The Emancipation Economic Development Council and Project Row Houses are launching Third Ward Reads: Reading Pays Initiative to encourage and support children in improving their literacy during Spring Break.

Each day, the children will receive lunch, participate in individual and group reading enrichment, enjoy supervised play and receive reading bucks to purchase a surprise gift at the end of the week.

On Friday, they plan to celebrate the children’s hard work with a book giveaway. They are requesting your support to collect the books on their wish list. You can purchase books directly through this link: http://a.co/iaL9gxW and have them mailed to the Emancipation Economic Development Council at 2520 Wentworth, Houston, Texas 77004 or drop them off at the same address.

If you are interested in your child participating and or volunteering please fill out a registration form here!
