Community Health Workers can build better bridges with better tools, and the Community Health Worker Initiative provides responsive engagement for CHWs embedded in and working as independent advocates for, their communities. UH is offering training for CHWs and sponsoring new ways to support CHWs, including a new funding model that makes it possible for CHWs to work flexibly and a new data model that provides accountability and efficiency.

  • Celebration of the PEERS Student Projects on Community Health and Disasters

  • Proposal for Creating and Funding CHWs as Independent Advocates in the Community
