Houston Southeast has partnered with the City of Houston Office of Emergency Management to conduct regular seminars in the community. The seminars update, inform, and prepare the community for District-wide emergency situations. Its purpose is to minimize the potential human loss or injury and property damage from a disaster or emergency situation, reduce losses and interruptions to business, resident and governmental activity, and to function in concert with regional emergency management actions.

Fire Safety Program

Houston Southeast host fire safety workshops 6 times a year with The Houston Fire Department. The Fire Safety Workshop consists of a fire safety presentation and the distribution of free smoke alarms.

Coffee with a Cop

Coffee with a Cop brings police officers and the community members they serve together – over coffee – to discuss issues and learn more about each other. The key to Coffee with a Cop’s growing success is that it opens the door for interactions outside of the crisis situations that typically bring law enforcement officers and community members together. click here
