The 288 tollway expansion project has begun. Houston Southeast is working in partnership with Drive288.com to provide updates on the 288 Tollway project.  Mid-week, a press release will be available with more details regarding the 288 Southmore bridge closure.

Prepare for nightly closures on all northbound lanes until December 3rd between Bellfort St. and IH 610. As a detour option, commuters are advised to exit IH-610 Eastbound, take the Scott St. exit, make a U-turn at Scott St. to the IH-610 Westbound entrance ramp to IH-610 Westbound, and use the SH 288 Northbound ramp.

Also, this weekend as you celebrate the holidays, be mindful that the two right lanes of SH 288 Northbound will be closed from IH 610 to Holly Hall St.
