The SH 288 northbound exit to Elgin Street/Chartres Street is CLOSED for storm sewer construction.

For everyone’s safety, please follow posted detour signs and avoid the construction zone. The closure is in effect from 9:00 AM Tuesday, October 7, 2025 through 3:00 PM Friday, December 12, 2025. Both westbound and eastbound Elgin Street will also be closed between Hamilton and St. Emanuel Streets during this time. Expect delays and plan ahead.
