William McKeon, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of the Texas Medical Center (TMC), highlighted Thursday that the TMC is fully embarked in a path towards growth and innovation.

During the ‘State of the Texas Medical Center’ event, which was organized by the Greater Houston Partnership, McKeon assessed the TMC’s work during 2017 and expressed his pride about the fact that the hospitals that form the institution remained operational during Hurricane Harvey.

Located near downtown Houston and with over 100,000 employees, the TMC is the largest medical complex in the world and McKeon emphasized the institution plans to continue combining the clinical care and medical research that has always distinguished it.
