TxDOT invites residents of the Third Ward to a free Community Empowerment Workshop on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Blue Triangle Community Center (3005 McGowen St., Suite 300, Houston, TX 77004).

As part of the North Houston Highway Improvement Project (NHHIP), the Relocation 101 Workshop, a part of the Affordable Housing & Community Cohesion Series, will provide valuable information on relocation assistance, affordable housing, financial wellness, and local community resources. Attendees will enjoy a brief presentation, hands-on activities suitable for all ages, and an opportunity to speak directly with the relocation team.

This event is open to all members of the community—not just those directly affected by property acquisition.
